I am a woman of simple (though sometimes fickle) tastes. Simply produce the best gloss possible and I’m yours for life. But some days even the perfection of MAC Love Child just doesn’t do the trick and my eye wanders to the new and covetable. Le Rouge Francais Lampyris Divine Lip Oil is all that and then some.

Though it only comes in five shades, this lip oil is definitely worth another look (and splurge). While I don’t love the slightly sweet scent (my favorite, Nemesis has a slightly berry scent), I am madly in love with the texture which is sheer but pigmented and slick and shiny but not melty. There’s a lovely cocktail of oils that give a natural deep shine including coconut, jojoba, sweet almond, and argan oil. The jury is still out on whether I love the idea of there also being probiotics in the mix or think it’s more like trends gone wild.
