A Monthly Treat for Paid Subscribers

First off, let me tell you how much I appreciate each and every one of you (yes, YOU!).

Writing can be a lonely pursuit, and creating a newsletter from scratch and keeping it going and growing, well, that can be exhausting at times. Also, thrilling. And so I truly appreciate every one of you who signed up and keeps checking in for tasty and fresh content daily.

While this newsletter is and will remain free, a lot of work goes into the writing and running of it. And so I doubly (probably triply) appreciate those of you who support my independent writing with paid subscriptions. You have no idea of how much it means to me! I want to do something extra nice for paid subscribers.

Free beauty consulting monthly

Starting with this month, I’ll randomly choose one *paid subscriber to receive a one-hour beauty consultation with me.

What that means is that we’ll set up a time to meet on Zoom. You can bring all your favorite products with you and we can discuss what you love or hate and what you wish you could achieve with makeup or skincare. And if you have an upcoming event, we can discuss planning your makeup and hair look. Just so you know, I charge $500-$750 for individual consultations. And in case you only know me from my daily posts, I’m among other things, a respected beauty expert and former celebrity makeup artist and product developer/namer. I sometimes teach cosmetics and fragrance marketing on the graduate and undergrad levels at prominent universities including NYU, Parsons and FIT.

For my writing and PR friends who’ve signed up, I’ll offer a slightly different thank you gift (if that’s your preference. You can go with the beauty if that’s your choice!). If you’re chosen, you’ll win a TBD brainstorming session. We can talk about your writing, your pitches, your clients, or your products. It’s a win/win.

And just so you know, all subscribers can write to me with any time with your questions and concerns. I’ll try to tackle them on upcoming posts.
