Hello, Gorgeous!
Passover starts tomorrow night and the celebrations are tempered only by the endless preparations. So, yeah. This is going to be a short post.
Here we go:
A drop of bronzing
I’m kind of pale, in a way that screams consumptive opera heroine rather than porcelain-skinned English Rose. And so I approach any attempts at bronzer with great trepidation. And then there’s the newest launch from Indie Lee. Bronzing Drops are more like a tinted serum, so the look really is sun-kissed rather than sun smooched. The pigmenting is super fine, so if your skin tends toward cocoa or cafe latte, you’ll have the smallest hint of a glow. And I can’t get enough of the delish ingredients that nourish your skin including Niacinamide, to even skin tone and plump parts that need a boost. Lovely Avocado Oil, Squalane, and Vitamin E make things even nicer with a moisture boost for easy application.
I was able to use this product on its own and applied near my cheekbones for a bit of glowy definition. Mixed with moisturizer it became more of an all-around lovely glow. This is definitely a nice lightweight product if you’re trying to avoid too much sun but still want that healthy summer look ($28,indielee.com). Stay tuned because I’m going to explore two Indie Lee skincare products next week.
A paper tote
I was going to save this one for an upcoming gift guide but I love it so much I’m sharing it immediately.
Out of the Woods creates fabulous tote bags out something they call Supernatural Paper, a renewable, tree-based material made from tree pulp. But before you poo poo the idea of paper totes, they’re water-resistant and incredibly durable because of a latex bond added to the process. And since it’s Earth month (which of course should be every day of the year) you’ll love knowing that 93% of water used in manufacturing is returned to the environment in its original clean state, with the rest evaporating naturally. And let us cheer for the fact that the washable paper is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certified, meaning it’s free from harmful levels of over 100 substances, including PVCs and PFAs ($26, outofthewoods.com).
A minimalist multitasking oil
Earlier in the week we discussed the many steps involved in achieving glass skin. But what if you’re a minimalist who still wants results?
WOO - World of Oils creates 100% organic, fair trade, cold-pressed oils that come packaged in beautifully decorated bright recyclable tin dispensers. In fact, they’re so pretty you might want to display them on your vanity. There’s much to love here. WOO creates single-ingredient botanical oils that are ethically sourced from Morocco, India, and Chile. They can be used on your skin, hair or body. In fact, they’re so compact they’re also TSA-friendly. My fave is the Rosehip Oil which simultaneously fades sun damage and boosts collagen ($40, Amazon).
And I’m out for the weekend! Will you be celebrating any holidays, or just hanging around for the weekend? Let’s meet in the comment section to discuss.

I love the oils!! I'm definitely opera dramatic pale too
I wasn't familar with Out of the Woods--thanks for the scoop. Such a handsome collection! That 93% of water used in the making of washable paper is recycled and returned to its original source is incredible--not to mention their other earth-friendly practices.
