Amazon's Summer Beauty Event is Here

And there are some great deals to be had!

Depending on who you ask, there are either 33 days til summer (Memorial Day calculation) or 55 days until summer officially begins on June 20th. Apparently, Amazon has a completely different method of calculating how much time we all have to get bikini ready (waits for the uproarious laughter to end), since they just kicked off their Summer Beauty Event and there are some really incredible deals to be had. These are limited time deals, so don’t at me if you miss them.

Also, today (Monday) makeup is on sale; tomorrow (Tuesday, April 29) skincare will be on sale; Thursday, May 1, fragrances are on sale; Friday, May 2, look for men’s grooming markdowns; Sunday, May 4, personal care items are on sale, and next week there will be loads of beauty brands on sale.

• Must-have mascara: Tarte lights, camera, lashes 4-in-1 mascara is 50% off and only $14 right now.

• Great brow pencil: Anastasia Beverly Hills - Brow Definer Deluxe is usually $13, but on sale now for $7.80.

• Classic lip (and cheek) tint: Clinique Black Honey Pop Lip + Cheek Tinted Oil. This one is usually $27, and on sale now for $18.90. One thing though, while Black Honey looks amazing on everyone’s lips, I’m not sure that it will be equally universally appealing as a cheek color.

• For plump summery lips: Tarte maracuja juicy plumping lip oil is 50% off now. It’s usually $27, and you can snag it now for only $13.50.

• A fancy lip balm: Lancôme Lip Idôle Squalane - 12 Butterglow Hydrating Lip Balm is on sale for $24 (it’s usually $32). It’s a good deal if you want to check out this variation on the Christian Dior lip glow lip balm (I just checked, it’s also on sale).

• A cuticle exfoliator: I wonder if butter LONDON Cuticle Remover Liquid can help my disastrous cuticles. It’s on sale now for $12.15, usually $18.

Random. I know some people refuse to shop on Amazon, that’s your decision, and I respect it. There are deals available from brands that I will never recommend for various reasons, but feel free to find them on your own!
