Baby Foot (Doo Doo Doo)
Now's a great time for a foot peel
Hello, Gorgeous!
Remember when Baby Foot first appeared on the scene? The extreme foot peel kit was greeted with oohs and eews and endless images of people’s really gross photos documenting the peeling process.
With the weather cooler in much of the country, more feet are cozily tucked into socks. But holiday strappy sandal wearing just around the bend, making this an ideal time for a quick peel. Baby Foot’s newish spa bundle makes the experience more of a treat while minimizing some of the ick factor.

For the uninitiated, Baby Foot has a well-deserved cult following for their fruit acid-infused booties which decimate dry skin and calluses. Simply soak your feet for at least an hour (longer is even better), apply the booties (wear a pair of socks on top and try to minimize walking around since this stuff is slippery) and after an hour rinse well. The downside is that after a few days when the peeling process begins you might see wide swaths of dried-out skin…nevermind. It really is a gross but oddly satisfying process.
The new kit adds a couple of extra steps that Baby Foot purists might balk at. In addition to the peel booties are are two foot soak packets (one for before the booties and one for a few days later) and a foot scrub to help remove all that leather-like skin that peels off.
Like Taylor Swift, Baby Foot isn’t for everyone. But it sure does have its legions of fans ($34, Ulta).
