Beauty Sleep, But Make It Bedazzled
The silk sleep mask that's part blackout curtain, part ballgown
Hello, Gorgeous!
We’re heading into the second heatwave of the summer in my part of the world, and I’m finding it harder than ever to catch an entire night’s sleep. Lucky for me, I just tried out one of Drowsy’s Silk Sleep Eye Masks. These are undoubtedly the floofiest and most luxurious masks I’ve ever tried and go beyond my blackout curtains to block out every single scorching ray of light. The construction is also brilliant since they wrap around your face instead of using an uncomfortable stretchy band.
One thing I also really love about these sleep masks - they have the wrinkle-softening elements of sleeping on a silk pillowcase, minus the night-long slip and slide.
Beyond the great night’s sleep, I’m thinking these would be gloriously extra to pack for your next long-haul flight. Let everyone else put on gel masks that scare the flight attendants; you can sparkle for the entire flight. Maybe you don’t have a first-class ticket, but the Crystals by Swarovski is the ballgown equivalent of an eye mask. I’m definitely (be)dazzled by the design! ($99 for the branded version on drowsysleepco.com, but you can find all kinds of beautiful styles starting at about $79 and up to $139).
P.S. Be sure to check out Drowsy’s new Hotel Paradiso collection that channels Old Hollywood glam, including the leopard-print Wild Thing mask ($79) that would make a perfect holiday gifty for your favorite auntie.
Do you use silk eye masks or pillowcases? Let’s meet in the comments to discuss!
