I used to joke that weekends were for amateurs. Back then my weeks were an extended whirlwind of daily socializing, networking, power lunches and dinners and randomly hanging out with fabulous folks. Weekends were for recuperating.

The ethos of the brand is delightful in that it embraces “age maintenance” rather than the prickly anti-aging umbrella that’s fallen out of favor. You might see Meaningful Beauty products on home shopping channels, but make no mistake about it - the products produce results. And while I’m generally not a fan of celebrity brands or partnerships, I’ve always been impressed with Meaningful Beauty.

Meaningful Beauty Skin Renewing Facial Tool

I’ll be brutally honest here. I test out a ton of products and at home facial tools. And while I do rave about some, the vast majority end up being disappointing. So I was suitably skeptical when testing this one out. In other words, I expected zero results until I used it at least a few times. Wow, did I have a pleasant surprise.

Remember when I mentioned all my socializing over the past few days? We’re talking about back-to-back events and merriment. I was sure I would wake up this morning looking a lot worse for the wear. Only I didn’t. In fact, I looked like I just spent a few days at a spa and have been receiving a slew of compliments all morning. I did a quick bit of facial mathmetics and realized the only thing I’d tried over the weekend was the Meaningful Beauty Skin Renewing Facial Tool. Talk about a pleasant surprise.

Here’s what I like about it:

• The price. At under $100, this is a great starter tool for anyone on the fence about upping their at-home skincare game.

• The size. Unlike some of the oddly or awkwardly shaped gadgets out there, this one is lightweight and portable and easy to recharge.

• The results. Call me skeptical but I was expecting absolutely zero visible results from using the skin renewing tool. And I certainly was not expecting measurable and visible results after only two uses.

• The settings. I really like the fact that you can cycle through nine levels of heat and choose the one that works for your skin. I kept things to a very low heat because of my super-sensitive skin. There’s also a massage setting to help depuff, and a red light setting, to help promote the look of healthier skin. Use for about 15 minutes, but not more.

• Ease of use. I very gently patted on a single Wrinkle Smoothing Capsule and then used the tool to massage in the product. Instructions say to use in small circular motions for best results. I did. Talk about best results.

As mentioned, I wasn’t expecting much. I have awful allergies and frequently make fun of the fact that I’ve had puffiness under my eyes since I’m about four-years-old (photos of me as a tot look like I’ve been up all night partying). This is the first time I noticed an almost instantly decrease in puffiness. More than that, I usually avoid any creams with caffeine since they depuff but can make my eye area look drawn.
