Hello, Gorgeous!
While most of you are taking time off and relaxing (I had to Google it — apparently it’s a real thing!), I’ve been working round the clock on some new launches I’ll be sharing next month. It’s not that I enjoy being a workaholic (that’s sooo last decade!), it’s just that I often get my best work done while everyone else is away. It gives me more time to plan and think.
Here’s something I’ve been spending a lot of time thinking about:
How much of your personal info does that innocent-looking app really collect?
From skin analysis to personalized product recommendations, beauty apps know a LOT about you — but do they keep it safe? And what exactly do they do with that info?
I’m building an ethical skincare and product tool for subscribers. Before I can launch it, I need to deconstruct what everyone else is doing — to reverse-engineer something that protects your privacy whenever possible.
So, whether you use beauty apps, shopping apps, or take those endless online quizzes, what are your thoughts on beauty apps and privacy? Let’s meet in the comment section to discuss!
