Dry Winter Mitts?
It's time for a schmancy exfoliating hand wash
Hello, Gorgeous!
Last week friend of Hello Gorgeous! Debbie mentioned her dry winter hands. I then realized mine were exhibiting signs of potato chip texture as well. Fortunately for us all, Nature of Things just launched their new Exfoliating Hand Wash.
(Soft) skin in the game
I don’t know about you, but whenever I realize that a body scrub isn’t doing what it should, I relegate it to hand scrub territory. The good news is that I don’t end up wasting any pricey product. The bad news is it wasn't formulated for the sensitive skin on your hands..
Nature of Things new hand wash is formulated to exfoliate, polish and cleanse the skin. The part that’s less expected is that it replenishes moisture as well. The ingredient list features pumice to gently buff away dead skin cells, glycerin to attract moisture back to your skin and everyone’s favorite ingredient hyaluronic acid to hydrate on a deeper level.
Worth noting: While this is a wonderfully pampering experience and will make hands look and feel softer and smoother, it won’t tackle things like peeling nails, hangnails or even ragged cuticles. But it might help you tame your dried out hands until spring gets here. The two scents are Awakening Santal (Sparkling Lemon and Ginger), and Lavender Leaf (Bergamot, Lavender, and Lemongrass), which leave an overall fresh and light fragrance. I love that these washes are composed of over 95% natural origin and 75% plant‑based ingredients. Oh. It’ll also get your hands clean! ($48, natureofthings.com).
Have your hands had a tough time of it this winter? Let’s meet in the comments to discuss!
