This is fun! And I think that's the language I've been searching for when talking to my daughter (6) who gets curious when I get out my make up bag - which isn't often. In human design language, she has outer vision, and is really coming to love all things pretty (jewelry, hair braiding, lip gloss). Your post is the perfect reminder that makeup can be a tool to live and play more and "hide or coverup" less ;)

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! And that's so interesting that you're trying to find the right words to explain all of this to your daughter. I absolutely LOVE your takeaway. I played a lot with my looks when I was growing up. It drove my parents crazy, but ultimately it made me realize that makeup art is just that :)

Love your attitude and really, why not? Except… bright colors and pinky undertones really make my sensitive eyes look more like bunny eyes than fun and fab. Hard pass for this gingit! 🤪🤪🤪

You are ever so sweet! (and I hope you're feeling a bit better). I sometimes risk going the unflattering route because of the fun factor! And I spent a considerable amount of time as a redhead back in the day! <3
