I'm so heartened you posted this as a way to give back. I remember being at work and CNBC was on in the background, as usual. Our office was next door to the then-named Sears Tower, and there was a legit concern it would be hit next. Watching everyone stream out of the Loop and on to the suburban trains (where I had to go for our satellite office) was surreal. We need to remember this day and the sacrifice of first responders.

Your 9/11 story gave me chills! This day brings me right back to 24 years ago so clearly. I'll never forget the feeling of unity in the country in the days that followed and given alllll the recent events, it brings me to tears. Thank you for sharing this post and putting it all so eloquently.
