I Used Up the Entire Bottle
Clé de Peau Beauté Essential Refining Essence costs $105. I used every single drop.
Hello, Gorgeous!
Did you ever have a product that you absolutely loved but paid no attention to?
What about a product you know you’ve theoretically been using incorrectly all along, only it was perfect for you? That’s me with Clé de Peau Beauté Essential Refining Essence.
I use this product every morning but didn’t realize how much I depend on it until I used it up (which sounds like every dysfunctional relationship I’ve ever been in).
I have super sensitive skin, so I’m careful not to overwash my face (or body) to avoid stripping it. I’m also vigilant about using products for my specific skin type and requirements. So, how did I miss that this product is made for oily skin?
I may earn a small commission from sales made using the links in this post. (Probably not, since I’m kinda lazy about chasing down affiliate programs).
How I use Clé de Peau Beauté Essential Refining Essence
People constantly ask me if I use up any products or if I’m too busy trying new ones to get to that point. It’s a little of both, but I will be stocking up on this one again.
Since my moisturizer and treatment products tend to be heavier at night, I like to wash off any remaining product in the morning. But no matter how gentle a cleanser I use, my skin almost always ends up tight and dry. So I started experimenting with using essences to clean my face in the morning. While they’re supposed to be more of a final step, essences are my first step.
With the Clé de Peau, I shake the product to blend as suggested and then pat it onto my face, but more to clean off last night’s goo than to add glow. And interestingly enough, while it’s made for oilier skin types, it’s never dried out my face. Instead, it adds a lovely subtle glow. I can’t explain it; I’m just here to tell you about it.
The product description explains that it’s “formulated with Surface Refining Complex EX to help dissolve impurities that clog pores and expel persistent debris deep inside.” I’m going to guess that in my case, it removes heavy moisturizers instead of going deeper below the surface. I also love the texture, which has a slight bit of heft to it and is formulated with natural rose and rare orchid. It’s $105 on cledepeaubeaute.com).
Will you have the same results that I do? I don’t know; but I’m curious to hear about it!
