I'm Blushing
Actually, I'm freakishly pale right now, but Winky Lux Cheeky Rose Liquid Blush adds just the right glow
Hello, Gorgeous!
Tomorrow you’ll be treated to a great big gift guide. But for today, can we talk about how pale I we look? I feel like everyone I know is kvetching about looking faded 🙋🏻♀️. And while I was going to include this one in Le Great Big Gift Guide, I feel like things are dire and we all need a bit of color. Well, some of us. I’m pulling this one out of tomorrow’s gift guide in case some of you are having a blush-type emergency. I guess that makes me a beauty first-responder, huh?
Winky Lux Cheeky Rose Liquid Blush
First off, under $20 for what feels like the aptly described lux experience? I’m here for it! More than that, this blush can pack a lot of color, and doesn’t sink into those pesky fine lines. So dot on, blend, and then apply more as needed.
The packaging is also so pretty in an old-fashioned, I feel girly, oh, so girly, sort of way. But the two genius factors are:
The dome tip sponge which is larger than most sponge applicators and has a lot of heft to it, so you can dab on product instead of streaking it on.
The formula is also pretty incredible. Described as a “gel-cream” with a velvet finish, this is a really lovely hybrid formula that makes you look glowy not showy.
It’s a small splurge to make you feel less washed out as you get ready for the holidaying ahead ($19, winkylux.com).
P.S. I’m also really loving the Cheeky Rose Liquid Sculpt (same price) which will help you fake the look of cheekbones, a less anemic complexion, or one less chin during the holiday feasting.
Have you been looking washed out lately? Let’s meet in the comments to discuss!

The packaging is adorable! I may have to try this!
