Hello, Gorgeous!
I know that it’s August, but my poor exposed feet are seriously craving a bit of cozy comfort. Is it premature to start wearing closed-toe clogs? Maybe. But my pedicure is chipped and I could use a bit of foot TLC.
These two super cute and comfortable pairs of clogs from White Mountain sure do the trick.
White Mountain clogs are cute and comfy
In case you’re wondering, it’s never too early for clogs for these feet. I’m currently wearing the Bendees Contrast-Stitched Signature Comfort-Molded Footbed Clog in Blue Raspberry suede. Having previously splurged on Birkenstocks, I can tell you that these are a lot more comfortable. I can’t explain it, I’m just reporting it!
The arch support is fantastic and they don’t pinch at all. I’m not sure why, but some cork-soled clogs can have this odd pinching sensation. These don’t. They’re also really pretty with the folksy looking whip-stitching. I should amend that to they’re really pretty for clogs. They come in four sun bleached shades are are great for late summer/early autumn. ($79, Amazon).
I also tried out the Bueno mule which is a bit more high-style with an oversized buckle and a slightly higher foot bed. If you have narrow ankles, these might gap slightly mid-body.
Dare I go out on a limb and say that these are extremely chic? I was very pleasantly surprised at the oohs and aahs I’ve received when wearing these. I have these in Beach Wood/Suede and they have a lazy Hampton’s vibe (currently $55, Amazon).

(And unrelated to clogs, I want to send a huge and public thank you to my buddy Bill B. What a gentleman and a smartypants).

I'm a fan of wood based clogs. Will check these out though. Under the clog heading - an Israeli friend was an Israeli folk dancer and he wore wooden clogs all the time. They looked great đŸ™‚.
