Mailbag: Makeovers for Everywhere
You had questions about updating your kitchen, bedroom, underwear drawer...
Hello, Gorgeous!
And a special hello to all the news subscribers. I see you. I appreciate you. And if you’re joining us from a PR agency, won’t you consider a paid subscription? It helps me do what I do (with your support, of course!) and acts as a handy dandy tax write-off.
Moving right along.
You asked
This week’s mailbag contained a lot of requests for makeover advice…though not just for your face.
Several of you wanted to know how to update your kitchen without actually doing any sort of a renovation.
Someone wanted to know how often to refresh her underwear drawer
Another one of you fine folks wanted to know what’s new in laundry detergent
And still another wanted to know how old you have to be to indulge in a recliner
Someone wanted to know if she can tell her bestie that her perfume is noxious, while someone else questioned if she can tell her frumpy friend that she looks like she’s living in a rerun of “A very special episode”

But wait, there’s more!
Someone wanted to know what’s new in crafting. And is it okay to toss a project she knows she’ll never finish
Someone wanted to know if it’s okay for his beard to grow feral because he likes it that way.
Someone wanted to know how many umbrellas are too many (apparently she has 11. No judgement. Just sharing).
Someone wanted to know if it’s okay to still be using the same perfume she’s worn since college
Someone wanted to know how to declutter a beauty shelf without feeling guilty about wasted products
Someone wanted to know if there’s a right way to organize a linen closet (or if she should just close the door and walk away)
Someone wanted to know when it’s time to retire a handbag she loves but that has seen better days
Someone wanted to know what to do with all the free hotel toiletries she’s been hoarding for years (that one’s easy. chuck ‘em)
Someone wanted to know how often to change the bed linens if she isn’t getting busy
And that my friends, is it for this time around. Do any of these questions resonate with you too? Want me to tackle these? Do you want to read beauty etiquette advice in general? Have a few questions of your own? Feel free to hit respond to this email, click below, or drop a comment in the comment section.
If only Martha Stewart and I shared banking levels instead of exquisite talents in all things!

Quick note: I included some affiliate links and from time to time some sponsored products which means I might earn a small commission on sales made through these links, but I also throw in stuff I love just because. Prices are current at publish time.

You can’t go wrong with any of those.
