No More Lost Scrunchies

Have you ever gone to sleep with your hair up in a scrunchie only to wake up with said scrunchie nowhere in sight? I have, pretty much every night. And let’s not even discuss the missing books or pajama pants or eyeglasses that somehow get lost in middle of the night never to be seen again.

I recently discovered two cool ways to keep your scrunchies from going MIA.

Three-Tier Accessory Tray

Yamazaki Home has a fabulous collection of home organizing products that help tame some of the clutter. This affordable and attractive three-tier tray is super easy to put together without tools. It’s pretty enough to keep on your coffee table where all the remotes live, but I like this for near the bed. Right now mine has about seven Laneige lip balms on the top teeny tray, and the three pairs of glasses I wear most often on the bottom largest tray. I also keep a small handcream there for easy access. I do *not* keep my cell phone on the tray since I try to avoid late-night doomscrolling. Queen Size Bed Wedge Pillow

I love my headboard. It’s absolutely gorgeous and unlike many things in my life, I’ve never grown tired of it. What I don’t love is the giant gap between my headboard and the mattress and the bed frame.

I was doing a bit of vacuuming a few weeks ago and found a treasure trove of orphaned scrunchies that had made their way into the gap at some point. I also found a cute pair of sleep shorts I thought a neighbor had purloined from the laundry room. I realized that I needed something to corral all the things that go missing while I sleep.

It also has pockets on either side if you must keep your phone near you at all times.
