Good info here. There is a lot of "but it's natural" claims about some ingredient as if it's above reproach. It's always important to know what you put in or on your body. As a guy I used to work with said about the idea that natural = safe, "nature kills."
Totally! The ingredients are really important to know, especially since so many of these plant-based foods are positioned to be "healthy," even though many are ultra-processed to get them to give the right mouthfeel and taste.
Awesome - there's a surprising amount to unpack! How do you choose frames that actually fit properly (sizing the width of nose bridge, also width overall - each have their own measurements and you need a magnifying glass to find info on an actual frame), finding the lightest lenses, frames that hold up under high prescriptions, frames that actually align the lenses properly with your eyeballs, frames that don't fall down, "frameless" versions that don't become lopsided, etc. In real life: Why do expensive vision boutique glasses let you see beautifully from the moment they're put on, but the big box store order is a hot mess for someone with quirky requirements? When are those basic readers available in bulk a good choice? Frames that don't irritate after hours of wear? And what about actual CUTE frame options? (are you sorry you asked?? I look forward to READING your take ;^)

That's actually a scary and brilliant point. I see natural ingredients and I cringe much of the time!

Yes, yes, yes! Next up, perhaps, your take on eye glasses, necessary for all that fine print! ;^)
Ha! I love this idea. Were there any details in particular you'd like for me to touch on?
