Last year Colby from Vermont wrote to complain about how much she hated the cold weather and how she’d bought too many cashmere sweaters. And like Goldilocks, Colby’s cashmere was too thin, too itchy, too short…you get the idea. Apparently, Land’s End Cashmere Turtleneck sweaters were just right.

First off, in case you never quite knew where cashmere comes from, here’s a quick primer.
Cashmere, also known as cashmere wool, is made from the soft undercoat of cashmere goats. They grow super fine hair on their bellies during winter months. During the spring time that extra layer of warmth is no longer necessary and it either naturally molts or is combed off. Those fibers are collected and processed to create what we know as cashmere.
