Data and Insight group Spate recently shared data about the popularity of edible fragrances, with caramel perfume and matcha perfume being the most popular. While tasty fragrances were popular at the dawn of this century, now, we apparently want to eat them.

Some (Spate) stats about yummy scents:

• Caramel perfume has grown +244.9 % compared to last year, with TikTok leading the way, holding 79.9% of the trend’s popularity

• On Google Search, interest in caramel perfume has grown +181.1%, while TikTok engagement has increased +265.7% compared to last year.

• While some consumers prefer pure caramel scents, others are drawn to fragrance blends like vanilla caramel, pistachio caramel, and salted caramel.
