Hello, Gorgeous!
If you’ve ever tried BabyFoot, you’re familiar with the repulsive yet oddly satisfying feeling of having strips of dead skin peel off your feet. But it’s not practical to use BabyFoot during summer months. The chemical foot mask will destroy your pedicure, and I can’t imagine anyone walking around in flip flops eager to leave a trail of foot effluvia (footfluvia?) wherever they go.
I found a better option, Silk’n VacuPedi.
Silk’n VacuPedi
You may recognize the Silk’n brand name since they make a suite of beauty gadgets ranging from skin tighteners to LED masks. And I’ve never tested out one that didn’t produce noticeable results. But a vacuum device? For feet? Now that sounded intriguing.
Silk’n VacuPedi looks like something you might encounter at a high-end spa. It’s small. It’s sleek. It buffs calluses off your skin and then vacuums up the dry bits. The VacuPedi has two speed settings (low and high) depending on how comitted you are to the process. With up to 110 minutes per charge, it’s also strangely addictive. But don’t overdo it or your feet might be way too soft and prone to blisters.
Also, if you share a bed with someone who has troll feet, you can swap out the grinding heads (there are three: Fine, Medium, and Coarse) and allow them to smooth out their own rough soles ($99, Nordstrom).
Do you use any odd or intriguing skincare devices ? Let’s meet in the comment section to discuss!
