Oh Estee, the epitome of glamour! I probably won't go back to my younger-days skincare since the idea of using St. Ives Apricot Scrub would likely rip my face apart! I used Clinique for a while, but the formula changed.
My greater question is about eye cream itself. I've never been sure if they're necessary or not. What's the difference between an eye cream and regular face cream?
There was a copper/bronze/gold eyeshadow combo I wore nearly every day. I felt sooo fancy!
I loved St. Ives and also witch hazel. That was my go to for everything!
Okay, so unless you have lines or puffiness or crepiness near your eyes, you can skip eye cream. The eye area is thinner than the skin on your face, and generally has the aforementioned issues, the the formulas tend to be richer and have different concentrations of active ingredients. I'll do a post with more details!
Good to know about eye cream. I don't think there's enough eye cream in the world to deal with the bags under my eyes. And that junk they advertise on late-night TV to tighten bags under your eyes (you know what I'm taking about) should be banned. So bad for you.
I loooved witch hazel! So it's really tricky trying to minimize the look of eye bags. I notice that whenever I try to tackle my chronic eye bags, the rest of my eye area looks totally dried out. I'm endlessly tempted by random late night TV commercials 👀📺
Intrigued!! I'd love to hear more about eye creams. What about seasonal changes? I'm finding when it's summer or I'm in humid climates I need different products. (Seriously, how much do I love talking about cosmetics? 🙂

I'm working on an eye cream post. Great questions!
