Apparently I just can't get enough of foodie beauty
š§And I blame it on essie's limited edition cupcake polishes
Hello Gorgeous!
For much of the week (and month) (and probably the year), Iāve been featuring products that have some sort of a food scent, flavor or inspiration. And thereās a good reason for it. The trend of gastrobeauty (I just made that up. Itās awkward but itās staying) isnāt slowing down.
Have you been following me on Yahoo Creators where I write a column called I Think Youāll Like This (ITYLT)? Yesterday I wrote a roundup of some of the best foodie beauty products.
One of my favorites from that piece deserves another mention here, because you only have a few more days to snag the sweet treats.
essie x Baked by Melissa: a collab that comes with actual cupcakes
In what might be the most delicious brand partnership Iāve seen in years, nail polish icon essie teamed up with bite-sized cupcake legend Baked by Melissa ā the bakeryās first-ever beauty partnership. Three standout shades from essieās new Gourmet Grocery spring collection have been reimagined as actual cupcakes: Marshmallow (the classic is it pink, is it nude? shade), Berry Naughty (exactly what it sounds like and perfect for early spring pedicures), and Unsalted (picture the lightest whipped butter possible made in the Alpine mountains and then transformed into nail polish and youāre on the right track). But the cupcakes are only available through March 23, in packs of 25 ($37) at BakedbyMelissa.com with nationwide shipping, or packs of 12 ($19) at store locations while supplies last. The polish itself sticks around the cupcakes wonāt.
Whatās the weirdest foodie beauty product youāve tried? Letās meet in the comments to discuss!
