There are certain words and expressions I avoid. Is it generational? Maybe. Or maybe I just don't want to use language that didn't have to become softened. I dunno. Maybe I'm too cranky. (I used to actually fine a client for using the expression douche. It was the only way I could get him to stop using it in interviews).
