I had the worst time trying to work on anything today. I really think you'll love Drunk Elephant. A lot of their products seem almost like skincare lite, but these two are just fabulous. I'll keep you posted after a few weeks!
Thanks so much! I am. Though the massive tech blackout has impacted everything I'm working on. Ohh. That's super interesting. I'm going to give this a think. Off the top of my head I'd say to look for enriched water-based products. They have the elements you need, but aren't oil based or similar.
I'm resetting all of my security cameras, thermostat, etc because of that outage. I am furious. Once I went dry, I went dry. I can use oil directly on my face now.
Rachel, I've been using Civant Firm & Renew for a few years, and like it very much. Do you still recommend switching to these DE products? Why change if you are pleased with what your skin care is doing for you? Or does the skin get "used" to a routine and need something to "wake it up?"
That's an excellent question. You live in a temperate climate without any real extremes, so if you've found something you love I absolutely recommend sticking with it. That said, sometimes stress or travel or holidays can throw your skin out of whack. Or, you might want to give yourself a breather before resuming your usual skincare routine. I like to mix things up seasonally...but then again, I'm always testing new products to write about!
